Come on, wake up and listen to the waves crushing the reef. It would be the same for Americans to ban Bill Gates from running for Mayor just because he is filthy rich. Besides, looking from the positive side, they are mostly experienced in leading people (commoners). As far as I know, if an iroj is suitable and well qualified to take on the job, be my guest. There should definately no cognitive prejudices against any human being, period. Again Mr. Jibakwe, thank you and hopefully we could be more understantable toward each other's opinion. Menin wot.     Ij melele, ak i profoundly believe in Equal Opportunity. Any Marshallese man or woman despite the differences has the right for office as anyone else, regardless of land-rights or power or not. What's cool about this is that a jibakwe kid that was raised with Rice-Beto could end up being a future leader or even the next president of the Marshall Islands.
