This is just an idea that my 12 year old daughter came up with that I thought was fantastic and also will benefit the future of the marshallese students residing everywhere.
First idea:
Can the RMI governement sponsor or host an annual event where a marshallese student represents his/or her State to meet up with others from all over the U.S and the Marshall Islands.
This kind of event will encourage other students to study hard to earn their place in this event. Also, they will be able to share their thougths and ideas about the future of the Marshall Islands.
criteria:
Must write a 300-500words essay
(topic: What is your goal once you graduate high school and how you will achieve it.)
Must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher
Must have good sportmanship
Must be part Marshallese
Must be in grades 6-12
Must have 2 letters of recommendation from a teacher and a principal.
Give some feedbacks. I think this is brilliant.
