Sitting Day 51 Monday October 19th - 00:17:38
Vote of No Confidence
The Nitijela website has posted an incomplete audio file of today's session -- only 40 seconds worth of the session -- introduction only.
Someone like to post the outcome of session.

That's because most of today's session was off the air. However, the debate in the Nitijela was so heated that...
Let's just put it this way; points
President = 3, Sen. Note = 0
President = 2, Sen. Morris = 0
Speaker = 4, V-Speaker = 0
Speaker = 2, Min. Kedi = 0
Tomorrow will be more interesting!

I attended the session today. It was by far the most fascinating Nitijela session I have ever watched. Emotions ran high, there were several outbursts by quite a few senators. The President was angry with Kessai, and Kessai was angry right back, Ken Keti had some words for the Speaker, the speaker had words right back. It is hard to summarize what went on over the course of the hour, you just had to be there... If you didn't watch Monday, go Tuesday, I am sure this will be better than the Super Bowl. A lot is at stake for the country. -

Both Rien Morris and Ken Kedi want people, especially constituents, to say they have no fear even talking back to President or Speaker. Also, they want people to say that they were actively involved in a historically very heated and sensitive issue. Are smart? No, I think other senators and ministers could be more constructive then they are. I hope their active participation does not jeopardize any political strategy. -

I think this union of 6UDPs and 12 AKAs is an unhealthy one. This could be another trick from the UDPs to the AKAs.
And enough with the arguing. Senators! Box it out in a ring already.
The senators are making a mockery of themselves and our nation to our neighbors.
Three VONCs? Three blows to the Marshallese peoples' confidence in the senators.
Seriously, someone tell me what the president and his cabinet is doing so wrong to warrant another VONC.
I may be an idiot, but one thing I am not, sir, is an idiot.

The vote is supposed to be today, Tuesday, October 20. There was a power outage this morning at about 6 AM, I am not sure if it is island wide or if it is just out here where I live, but that, I suppose, could change things. I am going to the session again today. -
