What's wrong with these photo captions from Pacifc Forum  Bottom

  • You might want to check out the following photo taken today at the Pacific Forum Small Islands States Leaders Meeting.

What's even more funny about this is that in 2009, at the 40th Pacific Islands Forum, the official photo identified President Tomeing as John Silk, too.

  • What the? That's what happened when you have so many VONC, the world don't know who the leader is. LOL!!!

"God, our Father, has entrusted precious little ones to our earthly care. To them may we teach prayer, inspire faith, live truth, and honor God. Then we shall have heavenly homes and forever families. For what higher gift could we wish? For what greater blessing could we pray? None!"
Thomas S. Monson, President of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints
  • Well, we have good news. Finally, the latest photos identify our President correctly -- by name.

Unfortunately, the other photos from earlier this week still identify President Zedkaia as President John Silk.

  • I just posted up the following story:
    Pacific Partn… Islands Forum

excerptToday at the Pacific Islands Forum in Port Vila, Vanuatu, the Australia's Minister of Foreign Affairs Stephen Smith signed Pacific Partnerships for Development with President Mori of the Federated States of Micronesia, President Toribiong of the Republic of Palau, and Foreign Minister Silk of the Republic of the Marshall Islands.

He also signed Pacific Security Partnerships with President Tong of the Republic of Kiribati and Prime Minister Tuilaepa of Samoa.

Why were all the signers the HEADS OF STATE, except the RMI with Minister Silk?

Why did Silk sign instead of President Zedkaia?

Could this be the reason that so many of the "Official portraits" and information of these events give the RMI President's name as "John Silk"?

And where was President Zedkaia? Did he leave already before the end of the Forum?

Obviously, if it was important the four other Heads of State to be there, our own RMI President should have been there, too.

So, was there a reason he wasn't?
