I was wondering if the KBE mayor (as former executive director for KBE finance 2000-2004) would comment on this unresolved financial report.

“the US government has played a game with us, switching forums for our claims and postponing again and again the payment of fair compensation that is required by the Compact and the US Constitution. We sought relief from the courts, then from the Nuclear Claims Tribunal, then from Congress under the changed circumstances petition, and then again from the courts.”

Bikinians across the united states calls upon the KBE council for a petition of the KBE current administration.
Motion Of No Confidence
• This motion is a tool provided by the constitution for councils to bring issues and concerns to public attention and to make the government accountable.
• This motion is an instrument used by many governments who operate under a local government system as a means of cleaning up and providing a report card that is true and which emanates from all members of the KBE government.
KBE Constitution Section17(2)- Vacation Of Office
(2) The council may, by the affirmative vote of not less than 2/3 of the total membership of the council, dismiss the mayor from office.
Issues listed as reasons for this motion
• Lack Of Good Governance
• Lack Of Accountability & Transparency
• Government Spending/Misuse Of Money
• Abuse Of Power
• Legal Aid Office and People's Constitutional Rights
• Task Force On Accountability
• Employment Of Staff
• Medical & Education Issues
• Bikini Community Domestic/Overseas Issues
• Lack Of Reform

kbe,
The truth is that your local government will never recovered the $$$ amount from ten years ago. Some suggested resolution to the issues you mention above:
1) relieve Jack N from his current duties, another word " Fire him"
2) Yes, go ahead and initiate the motion of no confidence ASAP.
3) (If there are any) Repalce your current foreign advisor/lawers, check their background. Start fresh.
4) Hire a fraud examiner from the U.S., this is what you guys really need at the moment.
5) Choose someone in your island who understand what decision making involves. He/She should be able to make decision on her own, and not from Jack N.
6) Who knows, You can even hire Holly Parker, she may be a good choice as an advisor.
Ovbiously, Greeds and corruptions is the "root of cause" here.
The other fact is that BKE has a many talented young women and men, like yourself (kbe) who can run for future position in the local admisistration. Dude! I say "go home and address these issues to your people so they understand exactly what is going on." -
