The Embassy of the Republic of China (Taiwan) wishes to inform the public of a 2012 scholarship opportunity available to the Marshallese students with high school diplomas, which is the 2012 ROC (Taiwan) Ministry of Foreign Affairs Huayu (Mandarin) Enrichment Scholarship (HES) Program. The ROC MOFA HES Program is a short-term, non-degree scholarship program that offers education in Mandarin Chinese language for duration of 6 months to 1 year in ROC (Taiwan).
HES program provides a round trip economy class ticket and approximately $862USD stipend per month, in addition to fully sponsored tuition, insurance and credit fees.
For interested applicants, a completed set of application, including application form and all other documents required by the HES Program must be submitted to the Embassy of the Republic of China (Taiwan) no later than 23 May 2012. Further notice regarding the interview will be given to the applicants via the contact information provided in their applications.

<p style="line-height:15pt;margin:0pt;text-align:justify">The Embassy of the Republic of China (Taiwan) wishes to inform the public that a portal integrated website promoting “Taiwan Fellowships and Scholarships (TAFS)”, including various scholarship programs in ROC (Taiwan), has been officially online, which is at http://tafs.mofa.gov.tw . <p style="line-height:15pt;margin:0pt;text-align:justify"> <p style="line-height:15pt;margin:0pt;text-align:justify">To provide a more applicant-friendly platform for information regarding the various scholarship programs and opportunities in ROC (Taiwan), the ROC Ministry of Foreign Affairs established the portal website that lists scholarship opportunities provided by 7 respective ROC (Taiwan) Government Ministry/Agencies (including the Foreign Ministry itself) with a total of 11 scholarship programs available. In addition to scholarship information, the said website also provides information regarding colleges, universities and living environment/information in Taiwan. <p style="margin:0pt"> <p style="margin:0pt">The Embassy welcomes the public to pay their visits to the said website for further details about the scholarships and fellowships available in ROC (Taiwan).
