Articles: Marshall Islands HPO Accepting Bids for Website Design/Development
The Republic of the Marshall Islands Historic Preservation Office (RMI HPO) is currently accepting bids for a third-party website designer/developer. Qualified bidders should have an extensive background in web design and development, a creative edge, satisfied customers, and the ability to successfully complete within a reasonable time frame.
RMI HPO will provide content and a basic vision for the site, but the designer/developer will be expected to demonstrate creative freedom. The website should be extremely user friendly, interactive, clean, aesthetically appealing, and must be developed in a way so as to be easily maintained and updated by non-web professionals (this should affect the platform/language you choose to use).
The new RMI HPO website will be publicly accessible; it will contain information about the RMI HPO and its role in the RMI. Additionally, it will contain information about current events and projects, photos, staff bios, the historic preservation legislation, a timeline of significant Marshall Islands history, traditional legends, and downloadable documents relevant to the RMI HPO.
All bids must include your total fee, a time frame for completion, references, and three samples from your portfolio. Send bids and/or questions to email@example.com by Friday, August 31, 2012.
