The Public Service Commission is accepting applications to seek employment tor the following position:

POSITION TITLE: Community Outreach Coordinator
GRADE & SALARY:        PL-10/1  $21,000.00 Per Annum
MINISTRY: FOREIGN AFFAIRS
LOCATION: Republic of the Marshall Islands (RMI) Consulate, Honolulu, HI

OPENING DATE: 01/24/13
CLOSING DATE: 02/14/13

DUTIES: Maintains and promotes Consulate presence among community partners, particularly with
current and potential funding sources. Increases intake by fostering and nurturing referral relationships
with Community Partners. Create a master list of Community organizations. Ensures follow-up activity is
completed, documented and recorded on a monthly basis. Meets with the requisite number of new
community partners as designated by the Consulate General (CG per month, ensuring that all sectors of
the community targeted as directed by the CG. Attends community events on behalf of the CG. Keeps
abreast of prevailing issues and potential business opportunities and reporting possible opportunities to
the CG. Attends job fairs in the community to meet with potential clients to provide information on
Employment Services provided by RMI Government. Researches and refers clients to community
resources, such as child care, healthcare, insurance programs, etc. Helps clients work with government
agencies to apply for and receive benefits such as Medicare. Performs other duties as may be assigned
from time to time.. Performs other related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS. Graduated from a recognized college or university with a
bachelor degree in Social Work or Public Administration, or specialized in skills related as
communication, public relation, or organization of work, with three (3) years of work experience. OR,
any combination of education and experience, which may be acceptable to the Public Service
Commission.

Completed applications must be received at the Public Service Commission Office in Majuro and Ebeye
by February 14, 2013 at 5:00 p.m.
